A personal philosophy

Find common ground. Make it feel normal. Do a little good.

I believe our differences were never meant to be used as weapons against each other. This is the belief my life — personally and professionally — is built around.

Why

Two people who'd never agree on politics, singing every word of the same song at a show. That's the whole idea.

I don't think two people need to agree on much to genuinely enjoy each other's company. Most of the best conversations I've had started with something small — a song, a team, a movie — not something we were trying to convince each other of.

The goal was never to change anyone's mind. It's to build rooms, shows, and projects where sitting next to someone different from you feels completely unremarkable. Just normal.

It is time to create a new way to do humanity. One that is not about using our differences against each other — not because of skin color, gender, who we love, who we vote for, or what we believe. Not my side versus your side. Just people, living, working, and building something together. We don't have to agree with everyone, or believe everything they believe. But it's time to treat everyone as an equal human with equal rights.

The golden circle

Why, how, and what — in that order.

Why

Difference isn't a reason for distance.

The people I disagree with the most are still people. Equal footing doesn't require agreement — just a baseline of respect.

How

Common ground first. Then show, don't argue.

Lead with a shared passion — music, sports, film — before anything else. Show what it looks like instead of arguing for it. Get people in the same room, not just the same feed, and give the conversation somewhere real to go.

What

Unite2Solve and Craig's Common Ground.

A business that puts different people to work on a shared passion and a shared good deed. A show that puts different people in conversation over what they already love. Two vehicles for one belief.

Where the philosophy lives

Two projects, one belief.

The business

Unite2Solve

Different people. Shared passion. Real good. Unite2Solve starts with something a group already loves — a song, a team, a movie — and gets people working side by side on it. Somewhere along the way, that room does something good for the neighborhood too.

The show

Craig's Common Ground

Conversations with people who see the world differently than I do, built around the things we already agree on — a favorite band, a team, a film. No debate stage. Just two people talking about something they both care about.
